Pride Lanes is testing new lane equipment

The view of the new beta version of the Bergson Bowling lanes from the front lobby. The Pride Lanes Bowling Center uses Bergson Bowling’s lane equipment, and we were recently selected to join the testing team to test the next version of the Bergson Bowling System.

One of the changes you’ll see immediately is that Pride Lanes now has only five lanes. This is down from the six that were previously available at Pride Lanes in Electra.  The lanes themselves are wider, and the building won’t fit the sixth lane.

The Pride Lanes House Balls are now free

The new ball rack at Pride Lanes with the instruction sign for selecting which bowling ball you want to useBergson has created a ball rack so you can pick what bowling ball you want to use. All you have to do is touch the rack and select the ball color you want to use. This includes the Pride Lanes House Balls. I’ll be adding additional house balls with various LGBTQ+ Pride flags, as well as a ball featuring the suits in a deck of playing cards, but it’s going to take some time to create the textures.

PLEASE NOTE: The the front of the ball rack faces the wall due to an issue with how the house balls appear on the rack. That means that the balls are numbered right to left in the selection menu until it’s fixed.

Refunds have gone out to those who have bought the house balls

Since the house balls are free to use at Pride Lanes, I’ve removed the vendor for the house balls. I’ve also refunded everyone who has bought the balls. Please drop me a note inworld if you haven’t gotten your refund.

Can you break the lanes?

Pride Lanes is part of the beta testing program. Most of the things that need checking are on my to-do list, but feel free to try weird and crazy things as you bowl to see if you can find a problem with the new lanes. If you do, please send me a note with what you did and what happened. Please be as specific as possible so I can file a bug report.

We now have a television

The new X UltraVision TV Pro 2026 at Pride LanesI recently found the X UltraVision TV Pro 2026 from X Studio (taxi to the X Studio store) for my house, and I realized I could use it at Pride Lanes as well. The TV,  on the wall by the reception desk, shows the Blues Music Fan website, the source for the parcel music, so you can see what song is being played.

I may use it for other things, including showing televised bowling tournaments when I can. Movie nights are also a possibility, but I really don’t have the space to do that.

You can get an X UltraVision TV Pro 2026 of your own using the box below the screen. While it isn’t a vendor itself, it will give you a link to either the X Studio store (in your chat history) or to the product page on the SL Marketplace. I can’t recommend X Studio enough, and MstiqueX, X Studio’s owner, gives great customer service. I couldn’t decide between this TV and another one she offers, and she took the time to answer all my questions so I could decide which TV I wanted.

Come check out the new lanes

I hope you’ll come by Pride Lanes and check out the new lanes. There’s a sign on either side of the lanes with instructions on how to use the lanes. If enough people use the lanes, I’ll see if I can adjust my schedule and start league bowling.

Here’s your taxi to Pride Lanes in Electra.
