Last year, I wrote that I was looking for new land for Nanci’s Naughties and the Pride Lanes Bowling Center. I’m happy to say that I now have land in the regino* of Electra. The new Pride Lanes is already open in its new location, and I’m getting Nanci’s Naughties set up for its grand opening.

I found a specifically-designed building for Pride Lanes that’s designed for a six-lane bowling center with the Bergson Bowling System that Pride Lanes uses. It’s smaller than the skybox that Pride Lanes was in over in Taranatha. It means that there’s only room for the welcome desk, concession stand, and the lanes. I am hoping to set up the arcade games somewhere on the property.

There is something brand new at the bowling center. No, I’m not referring to the new scoring desks and chairs. Pride Lanes finally has bathrooms! I know, avatars don’t really need bathrooms, but I like the fact that the center has them. I especially like being able to use a sign like I saw online a while back. It’s a custom sign that uses an image I bought online. I’d sell the sign for other businesses to use, but the image I bought doesn’t include resale rights.

I’m also bringing the Pride Lanes website into this website. I know I’ve changed where to find its website has changed a few times already, but this way it will be easier to update.

There’s a new building for Nanci’s Naughties, and I have to decide how everything will be laid out inside the store. I have a few spots dedicated to things, but I have a lot more work ahead of me. My old stores were open-plan, but the new store has a center wall that will be for specific things. The side facing the front desk/register will be where the newest things go. There’s already one new design waiting to go on sale.

I finally found some base mesh that supports the Prima bodies I wear. I’d like to add support for other mesh bodies as well. There are two polls on the building folks can vote in to let me know which mesh bodies to support. The first asks what mesh body you wear, and the second asks what variant of the body you wear. The variant is especially important because so many bodies have multiple versions. I want to make sure I include support for the variations people wear.

I recently discovered Blues Music Fan Radio (BMFR), which is based in Second Life, as T1Radio is. I also listen to WWOZ from  New Orleans and Boston’s WBUR to keep up with the news, but BMFR is my #1 station.

Blues Music Fan Radio is now the parcel music for Nanci’s Naughties and the Pride Lanes Bowling Center. If you like blues music as much as I do, you’ll want to listen to it regularly. They have apps for Android and iOS to make that easy to do. You can also stream via their website. There’s even a chat room where you can chat with both the hosts and the listeners on all of their platforms.

I haven’t been able to get into Blender and work on a new base for my t-shirts, but I’ll be putting out some new real-life merch soon. It has designs that haven’t gone into my Second Life store yet, and it has more than just tees and posters.
